What happens when I arrive?

The registration area is signposted at the venue. Our camp coordinator will be at the sign-in desk to ensure your child is signed in and to answer any questions you may have. The coordinator will provide you with a contact phone number to contact the camp directly should you need to at any point during the day. You will be asked to fill out consent forms as well as security forms. if you need to collect your child before the expected sign out time or another adult is collecting them, please let the coordinator know at this time.

Who are Sports Activities Holiday Camps?

RB Sports Activities is the sister company of the RB Gym & Sport, who provide high quality physical activity programmes throughout the area in a number of schools and educational settings.

We aim to provide high-quality sport and activity focused holiday camps that are affordable, providing a safe and secure environment for all children.

What should my child bring?

As your child will be active and running around for most of the day, they will need to bring the following:

  • A refillable bottle - water is available at all our sites.
  • A packed lunch - please try to avoid foods with nuts where possible (please note we cannot refrigerate any food items).
  • Healthy snacks - as well as lunchtime, your child will have two breaks throughout the day to have a snack.
  • Sun cream - to help avoid sunburn in the summer months we ask you to provide your child with sun cream and ensure they know how to apply it.
  • Clothing - we advise that you send your child with an additional set of clothing, just in case!

What should my child wear?

As we will be running around and taking part in physical activity, we suggest they wear loose, comfortable clothing and correct footwear that is appropriate to the weather and sports activities.

What happens if my child has an accident?

All our Holiday Camps team members are emergency trained first aiders, so you can be confident that your child is in safe hands should an accident occur. We will deal with any minor accidents on site. The accident will be recounted in an accident report form and you will receive a copy of this on collection of your child that will need you to check and sign. If there has been a more serious incident or your child has fallen ill, you will be contacted by telephone immediately.

What if my child's behaviour is inappropriate?

At our holiday Camps, we encourage and reward positive behaviour and deal with inappropriate behaviour quickly and fairly. We display our rules at all times, and coaches will explain to the children what is expected of them throughout the day regarding behaviour. Any behavioural problems will be dealt with as they arise, but in serious or persistent cases you will be contacted. If your child has any additional requirements or needs, please do let us know as we want every child to have the best possible time with us. All disclosures will be dealt with the strictest confidence.

"My 4 year old son took part in RB Sports Activities during the summer holidays. It was his first time in any holiday club and he thoroughly enjoyed the sessions with the large range of activities provided. Friendly, professional coaches made the whole experience an enjoyable week. Aaron is looking forward to taking part in the next holiday camp available."
